(un)prompted Shakespeare
KING LEAR
June 28 at 7:30pm
(un)prompted Shakespeare returns to the Shakespeare Festival for a one-of-a-kind theatrical experiment—a full production of King Lear rehearsed and performed in a single day. Actors meet in the morning, rehearse once, and take the stage that night… without a script in hand. Ever wondered what a Shakespeare script actually looks like? Both actors and audience will see it projected on stage in this exhilarating and unprompted night of Shakespearean tragedy.
