James Bartelle was recently seen in the Shakespeare Festival at Tulane’s production of Julius Caesar (Mark Antony). Previous Festival credits include Romeo & Juliet (The Prince), Hamlet (Horatio), Macbeth (Thane of Ross), Tempest (Gonzalo), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Speed), Importance of Being Earnest (Jack), Merry Wives of Windsor (Sir Hugh Evans), and As You Like It (Orlando, 2008). James has been seen in several Shakespeare productions with The NOLA Project including A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom), The Winter’s Tale (Antigonus/ Old Shepherd), 12th Night (Orsino), and As You Like It (Jaques). James is the co-creator of the two-person play Flying Dreams [The Ambitious Ascent of Icarus & Daedalus] which hopes to travel the Fringe Fest circuit in the very near future.

Originally from Jacksonville Beach, FL Kendall is beyond excited for her New Orleans Shakespeare Festival debut! Kendall is an LSU theatre grad with some favorite credits being Sister Act (Aurora Theatre), The Play that Goes Wrong (Aurora Theatre), [title of show] (LSU Lab Theatre), and most recently, Murder on the Nile (JPAS). A recent New Orleans transplant, she is excited to do work more in the city in the future. She would like to thank her roommate and best friend Madi Kelly for always supporting her no matter what.

Celeste is excited to be back at the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival after some time away studying and working in London. Previous work at the festival includes: Julius Caesar, Macbeth, The Tempest, Cymbeline, Romeo and Juliet, and A Midsummer Night’s
Dream. She recently appeared in Animal Farm the Sequel (New Wimbledon Theatre) and her solo show A Lady Does Not Scratch Her Crotch (Camden Fringe, Tramshed Woolwich). In London, she works as a Tour Guide at Shakespeare’s Globe and an educator in theatre, history and sex ed. She also performs drag and burlesque
under the name Gyno Might.

Born in Hammond, Louisiana, raised in Trenton, New Jersey; Robinson is ecstatic to return back to the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival! A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Robinson’s recent performance credits include Henry IV Part 1, Romeo & Juliet, and A Streetcar Named Desire. He is also co-founder of RoBenHood Productions based primarily in the Northshore. Thanks to my family and friends. I love you, JB.
JULIA DELOIS

Julia DeLois has studied acting at Tulane University and Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory, as well as improv at Washington Improv Theater, Dojo Comedy, and iO Chicago. Favorite credits include: The Glass Menagerie (Tennessee Williams Theatre Company), Romeo and Juliet (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), A Christmas Carol (Le Petit), and The Importance of Being Earnest (N.O. Shakespeare Festival). Julia writes and performs comedy frequently, most notably with her best friend and creative partner Emily Slazer in their recurring sketch variety show What Now?. The pair is developing a 2-woman Shakespeare sketch show called Two Hoes By Any Other Name and will debut their Real Housewives of New Orleans project later this year. Julia has also written for the internet satire publication Reductress.

A graduate of Loyola University and a Goat in the Road ensemble member, Ian is thrilled to return to the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival after last summer’s Complete Works. He is a six-time Big Easy Award Nominee and winner of “Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.” Other recent credits include: Born With Teeth (Le Petit Theater), The Trees (Intramural Theater), The Uninvited and The Stranger Disease (Goat in the Road), Mandatory Merriment (Southern Rep), Ragtime, Sueño, and Caligula (Cripple Creek Theatre Co). He has film & TV appearances in Mayfair Witches, Nashville, Woke, 22 Jump Street and many more, and can be heard weekday afternoons on WWL Radio.

John Jabaley is delighted to return to the NOSF, having appeared last season in Julius Caesar. Also appeared locally in The Diary of Anne Frank (WWII Museum) and Orpheus Descending (TWTC), regionally at New Stage in Noises Off and The Exact Center of the Universe, and in L.A. with the Will Geer, SF/LA, Theatre Banshee and more. Film/TV appearances include Into the Wild, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Preacher, NCIS:New Orleans, Blackbird, Treme, Queen Sugar and the upcoming People We Meet on Vacation. Robert A. Mitchell cannot express how happy he is to return to the New Orleans Shakespeare stage, where he has performed in Twelfth Night, and Henry IV, Part 1. Recently, you may have seen him in TWTC’s Orpheus Descending or A Streetcar Named Desire, or caught something he directed with his own small company, The NonProphet Theatre Company-South. Edward Montoya is a NY/CT based Actor, and is thrilled to be back in NOLA, working on his second production with the Shakespeare Festival. Matthew is excited to return to the NOSF stage. Appearing in Julius Caesar, Henry VI, Romeo & Juliet, Comedy of Errors and others for the Shakespeare Festival, Matthew has also performed with the Tennessee Williams Theatre Co. in The Glass Menagerie, Suddenly Last Summer, Desire, Desire, Desire, and others. Some additional stage credits include Rivertown Theatre’s Cabaret, and Nola Project’s A Midsummer Nights
Dream. Simultaneously, Matthew is Owner and Co-Founder of YellowBoxCircus, a company specializing in bringing Circus talent to Private events, Corporate events and Birthday parties. Matthew is represented by Hale Talent Agency and is a NOCCA

Matthew Bruce Rigdon is a born and raised New Orleanian. This will be his first time performing with New Orleans Shakespeare Festival. After graduating from the University of New Orleans (2013), he has been cast in various projects over the years. Credits
include The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (The NOLA Project), Camino Real (Tennessee Williams Theatre Company), Colossal (Southern Rep). He has also been seen in various Atun-Shei Films: Frozen 50s Man (Episodes 2 and 3), and The Cornerstone of Johnny Reb. Lastly, he wants to thank his amazing wife, family, and friends for

Though born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai`i, Zarah is honored to be returning to the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival! Zarah is a BFA Acting graduate of SUNY Purchase Theatre Arts Conservatory, has trained classically in London (RADA; The Globe Theatre), and was also the national champion for the ESU Shakespeare Competition at Lincoln Center (2015). Recent theatre credits include Flying Dreams (Icarus), NOSF’s Julius
Caesar (Octavius), and NOLA Project’s The Tempest (Ferdinand). Zarah is endlessly grateful to the generous and immeasurably rich theatre community of New Orleans for opening its arms.

Brandon Sutton is excited to join the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival in The Imaginary Invalid and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, marking his return to the New Orleans stage for the first time in many years. His television credits include notable roles in Blackbird (Apple TV+), Seal Team (Paramount+), Ordinary Joe (NBC), and The Crossover (Disney+). You can also play as Brandon aka Prince in the video game NBA2K24. He will be seen in the upcoming films Faces of Death and Madea’s Destination Wedding (Netflix). He holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Loyola University New Orleans and trained at the British American Dramatic Academy in London. Brandon is a proud member of
SAG-AFTRA. He would like to thank his family for their continued love and support.

Burton Tedesco has been part of NOSFT since 2011. He directed Much Ado about Nothing (2019), Henry IV Part 1 (2022), and Romeo & Juliet (2023). His NOSFT acting credits include Macbeth in (un)prompted Shakespeare: Macbeth, Macduff in Macbeth, Caliban in The Tempest, Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet, Dr. Caius in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Cinna the Poet in Julius Caesar. His festival fight direction credits include Henry IV Part 1, Macbeth, Cymbeline, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo & Juliet, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Hamlet, and Julius Caesar. He is a Dueling Arts International Full Instructor of Stage Combat and Certified Teacher of Michael Lugering’s Expressive Actor Technique.
