The Festival celebrates the 24th season with its most thrilling schedule to date!
Opening the Festival is The Taming of the Shrew. This unique production, drawing from original staging practices, will tour to local underserved audiences – as well as a prison – before opening the Festival’s mainstage season. Runs June 2-18, 2017.
Shakespeare’s masterpiece The Tempest will follow on the mainstage and run from July 7-23, 2017.
A one night only presentation of the hilarious By Any Scenes Necessary will spoof Romeo & Juliet on July 19, 2017.
One night only staged readings will showcase Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus on June 7, 2017 and Othello on July 12, 2017.
A screening of the Globe Theatre’s hit production of Twelfth Night starring Mark Rylance will take place on July 13, 2017.
