National Shakespeare speech competition
Each spring, in collaboration with the New Orleans Chapter of the International English Speaking Union, the Festival hosts a regional Shakespeare competition for students grades 9-12.
The National Shakespeare Speech Competition for 2016 took place on Sunday February 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Tulane University. The New Orleans winner receives an expense paid trip to the national competition in New York City in the spring, and the national winner will receive an expense paid summer scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London!
